Meet the Team

 

KARA SCHELLER
M.S., BCBA , LBA Owner
 

Kara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) living in Gadsden, Alabama. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Auburn University and a Master’s in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University. She has over 13 years of experience in a large variety of areas including the clinical setting, ABA based preschool, Autism research lab, in-home and in school consulting settings. She has also provided several trainings to medical and educational professionals on the principles of behavior analysis and basics of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Kara enjoys working one on one with clients using the verbal behavior approach and teaching others about the world of behavior analysis. In her spare time, she is spending time with her husband Zach, their son Graham and dogs, Della and Penny. She also never misses a chance to cheer on her Auburn Tigers!

Megan Ford
MS BCBA LBA
Clinical Supervisor
 

Megan Ford is a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with more than 7 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She began working with Coosa Behavioral Consulting in December 2019. Her interest in ABA emerged when she began volunteering at Jacksonville State University’s Center for Behavioral Studies as an undergraduate student. Megan received her Bachelor’s of Psychology degree in August 2015 then immediately began earning her Master’s degree. During her time at JSU, Megan worked as a behavior therapist and case co-manager at JSU’s Center for Behavioral Studies and completed a Master’s thesis working with adults with neurocognitve disease. She was awarded her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in May 2017. Since then, Megan has continued to provide clinical, in-home, and school consultation services across Alabama. Megan loves working 1:1 with clients and collaborating with each client’s team of behavior technicians. On her off days, you can likely find Megan Netflix binging, boating or paddleboarding, and spending quality time with her family.

AMBER GARLAND
Office Manager
 

Amber is an Office Manager and Billing Specialist, with over 20 years of administrative experience. Delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail has always been an essential part of Amber’s day to day operation. She grew up and attended College in Eugene Oregon, recently moving to Alabama with her husband to enjoy some warmer weather and explore all the great things about the south.

Gina Bolin
Behavior Technician
 

Gina is an Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) living in Gadsden, Alabama. She obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology from Jacksonville State University and a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. She has over 18 years of experience in a large variety of areas including the clinic setting, ABA based preschool, in-home, and in-school settings, and group home settings. Gina enjoys working directly with her clients using behavioral approaches to gain a positive learning environment. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Barry, and their son, Daniel. She has a cat, Gracie, and a dog, Sport. She enjoys watching the University of Alabama football games. Roll tide!

Brittany Hooper
Behavior Technician
 

Brittany is a Registered Behavior Technician with several years of experience in ABA in a variety of settings. She began her career in November of 2017 with Coosa Behavioral Services. Her interest in ABA began after her son was diagnosed with autism at age three and flourished with behavioral interventions implemented at home. She enjoys challenges and new learning opportunities. Brittany loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and three boys Hunter, Michael, and Christian.

Tara Faulkner
Behavior Technician
 

 

Tara is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from Hokes Bluff, AL. Tara has been with Coosa since December 2019 and has 5 years of experience in ABA across school, residential, and clinical settings. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville State University in 2017 and her

Masters in Psychology with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis from Jacksonville State University in 2021. She enjoys watching and helping her clients learn and develop new skills and surpass milestones. In her free time, she enjoys having quality time with her husband, Matt, as well as her family and friends. She also enjoys teaching new tricks to her two dogs and hamster.

Makenzi White
Behavior Technician
 

 

Makenzi is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from Southside, AL. Makenzi began her ABA journey with Coosa Behavioral in January 2018. She is experienced in providing clinical, in-home, and school based services. She enjoys every minute spent with her clients, helping them reach their full potential. In her free time, Makenzi enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fur babies, camping, serving in the special needs ministry at her church and watching Alabama football.

Shelby Baker
Behavior Technician
 

Shelby is a Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) from Fort Payne, Al. She recently started my journey as an RBT. She began her career at Coosa behavioral services in May 2021. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends. Shelby also volunteers in the special needs class at church.

Brianna Ramsey

Brianna is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from Ohatchee, AL. She recently became an RBT. She is currently pursing a degree in Child Development. She plans to also obtain a degree in Psychology in the near future. In her free time she
enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Caleb, as well as family and friends.
