Meet the Team






































Kara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) living in Gadsden, Alabama. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Auburn University and a Master’s in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University. She has over 15 years experience in a large variety of areas including the clinical setting, ABA based preschool, Autism research lab, in-home and in school consulting settings. She has also provided several trainings to medical and educational professionals on the principles of behavior analysis and basics of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Kara enjoys working one on one with clients using the verbal behavior approach and teaching others about the world of behavior analysis.
In her spare time she is spending time with her husband Zach, their sons Graham and Callan. She also never misses a chance to cheer on her Auburn Tigers!
Megan is a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with more than 10 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She began working with Coosa Behavioral Consulting in December 2019. Her interest in ABA emerged when she began volunteering at Jacksonville State University’s Center for Behavioral Studies as an undergraduate student. Qqq w cDuring her time at JSU, Megan worked as a behavior therapist and case co-manager at JSU’s Center for Behavioral Studies and completed a Master’s thesis working with adults with neurocognitive disease. She was awarded her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in May 2017. Since then, Megan has continued to provide clinical, in-home, and school consultation services across Alabama. She loves working 1:1 with clients and collaborating with various professionals in order to provide effective, comprehensive services.
On her off days, you can likely find Megan Netflix binging, boating, thrifting, and spending quality time with her family.
Jordan is a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Jacksonville State University. She has worked in the field of ABA since 2015, and has worked for Coosa Behavioral Services since 2017. Since then she has built experience consulting in school systems, working in homes with clients and their families, and also supervising in the clinical setting.
She loves working with her clients and watching them learn, grow, and thrive in their own individual ways. At home she enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin and their two sons, Braxon and Brady.
Lynden is a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2014 from Auburn Unviersity and her Master’s degree in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2022 .Lynden has three and a half years of experience in ABA across clinic, school, and residential services. Lynden worked in the education field previously for 6 years and school consulting is her passion.
She enjoys traveling with her family ( especially to Disneyworld), decorating, and completing house projects in her free time.
Tara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from Hokes Bluff, AL. Tara has been with Coosa since December 2019 and has 7 years of experience in ABA across school, residential, and clinical settings. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville State University in 2017 and her Masters in Psychology with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis from Jacksonville State University in 2021. She enjoys watching and helping her clients learn and develop new skills and surpass milestones.
In her free time, she enjoys having quality time with her husband, Matt, her son, Henry, as well as her family and friends.
Mary is a state licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Jacksonville State University in 2024.
Alexis is a registered behavior technician from Centre Alabama. She became a RBT in 2022 working in a clinical setting after seeing ABA in schools working as a Paraprofessional in special education. Alexis is also CPR certified.
She is a mom of three kids and enjoys watching them play sports, spending time with family, shopping, pretty views and music.
Amber is an Office Manager and Billing Specialist, with over 20 years of administrative experience. Delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail has always been an essential part of Amber’s day to day operation. Amber has managed corporations from Medical offices to Radio stations. She grew up and attended College in Eugene Oregon, before moving to Alabama in 2018 with her husband to enjoy some warmer weather and explore all the great things the south has to offer.
In her spare time you will find Amber at the pool or traveling with her husband and fur baby Cooper Dean in their RV.
Becca has been a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) since 2018 working in a variety of settings including schools, clinical, and in-home. She also worked as the special education teacher in a self-contained special education classroom for 3 years before starting with Coosa in May 2024. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College, an M.S. in Collaborative Special Education from Jacksonville State University, and is completing her verified course sequence at University of North Texas to eventually become a behavior analyst.
When she is not working or in school, she enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and her husband; my other hobbies include reading, drawing, and spending time outside with her family.
Brittany is a Registered Behavior Technician with several years of experience in ABA in a variety of settings. She began her career in November of 2017 with Coosa Behavioral Services. Her interest in ABA began after her son was diagnosed with autism at age three and flourished with behavioral interventions implemented at home. She enjoys challenges and new learning opportunities.
Brittany loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and three boys Hunter, Michael, and Christian.
Donna is a Registered Behavior Technician from Snead, AL. She became an RBT with Coosa Behavioral Services in 2022. Donna received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Jacksonville State University (JSU) and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at JSU. She has served on the Alabama Association for Behavioral Analysts Executive Committee since 2022 as a student representative for JSU. She also serves as the President for the Behavior Analysis Club at JSU.
Donna finds the most joy in seeing the meaningful differences behavior analysis brings to the clients that she works with through applied behavior analysis therapy. She enjoys working with individuals of all age groups and with varying needs. Donna, not only loves working with humans but she also loves applying behavior analysis when working with animals. She has successfully trained a rat from JSU’s rat lab to play cornhole and basketball and plans to continue her work with other rats while she attends JSU.
During her free time, she also enjoys painting, reading, traveling, and hanging out with all of her loved ones.
Lacey is a Registered behavioral technician from Lincoln, AL. She became a RBT in 2022 working in clinic, school, community and home settings. Lacey became passionate about ABA after being an early childcare director for 10 years and taking a challenging behavior workshop (Aba based) due to an increase of behavioral needs to ensure each child received the best quality care. Lacey is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology in hopes to become a BCaBA. She particularly enjoys implementing natural environment teaching, working with clients using AAC, and having the opportunity to work with all clients of all needs and challenges. She finds joy in all the small things, and takes pride in working with each client. She believes that those who are passionate about their jobs love the work they do. She believes her passion drives her to be attentive and focused and make strides in what she loves. Not only is she inwardly motivated about her job, but she is critical in motivating her teammates. Passion is a positive energy that can be contagious, and she believes this reflects on her time spent working with clients. In her free time Lacey enjoys spending time outdoors with family, going to church, and looking at behavioral research.
Olivia is a Registered Behavior Technician from Fortson, GA. She currently lives in Jacksonville, AL while working toward her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University in 2023. Olivia has been with Coosa since February 2024. She enjoys watching her clients learn and finds her job very rewarding.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Auburn tigers, and spending time outside.
Stevie is a Registered Behavior Technician from Centre, AL. They became an RBT in 2023 and started working with Coosa soon after. They received their B.S. in Psychology from Jacksonville State University in April of 2023. She is currently working toward her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Jacksonville State University. Her autistic brother was the inspiration to pursue the field of behavior analysis.
In their free time, they enjoy drawing, playing Minecraft with their significant other, and attending concerts and music events with loved ones. Fun fact: she was also in the Marching Southerners at JSU for four years!
Symone is a Registered Behavior Therapist from Mobile, al. She is the parent of a high functioning Autistic child. She found out her sons diagnosis when he was 6 years old. Symone loves mixing tech and physical activity to get clients learning in a fun way. She has experience with in-home, school based, clinical, and daycare clients. Symone got into ABA while in school getting her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also plans to get her degree to become a psychometrist in the near future.
In her free time, she likes to travel, try new foods, and spend time with her husband, Zachary, and son Phoenix. When she isn’t with them, she like to do taekwondo and be outdoors.
